Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Stayed for 2 nights on either side of hiking Tongariro North Circuit. The hotel is meticulously clean, grounds beautifully manicured, with even all the pots and cups aligned the same way. You walk right onto the past by the river. Rooms were quiet and wonderful. You're off the main road so traffic is minimal. Highly recommended!!!

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. How close it was to everything. It was so modern and like a home away from home.

Sitting in the thermal bath with a glass of wine after dinner was the highlight. Friendly service and food delivery

Boasting mountain views, Lake Vista Lodge provides accommodation with balcony, around 38 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. Excellent breakfast. Premium quality of Yogurt and bread, orange juice and the homemade jam. so Yummy!

Boasting sea views, Waiotahi Valley Lodge provides accommodation with a spa and wellness centre, a garden and a terrace, around 33 km from Miranda Hot Springs. This was one of our favourite places in our month-long trip in NZ. It had an amazing location, with huge beautiful gardens and lovely views. It was located uphill (which was a bit of a challenge for our small car, but once up, we didn't want to leave). We were upgraded to a lovely double room which opened up to the garden. The shared spaces were excellent, such as the well-kitted kitchen, outside sitting areas, and the large bathroom. The hot tub and breakfast were a great bonus too! Our hosts were very nice, friendly and chatty and we would certainly recommend staying here!

Situated in Russell, Arcadia Lodge Russell features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a bar. Hosts were amazing, informative and really very helpful and absolutely ensured you got the very best from your stay; breakfasts excellent sitting on the terrace with stunning views and completely home made foods and the whole property is made over for the enjoyment of guests. It is a home from home and full of its own history with classic furniture.

Set in Ahipara, Gems Seaside Lodge offers accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Gems is a wonderful location that is rig by at the start of 90 mile beach. The beach is expansive and the appearance of wild horses made it special. Accommodations are very comfortable for an overnight stay or longer. A great location in Ahipara!

Located in Whangaroa, 36 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, Whangaroa Lodge Motel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Fabulous accomodation, Judy was a lovely host & put us in a great room with a view that takes your breath away!

Chalet Cullen, is set in Mangawhai. This property offers access to a balcony, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.8 km from Mangawhai Heads Beach. This accommodation is superb in every way, very spacious, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, good bathroom and fabulous view. Well maintained outside area, with deck, table and chairs etc, free on-site parking and excellent WiFi. It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Boasting a garden, Te Kopura Lodge features accommodation, 15 km from Martinborough with free WiFi and lake views. the 2 lovely dogs, little girl Willow made us a day!
