Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. This stay was just perfect. In the beginning accommodation - tent surrounded by nature with beautiful scenery around. Tent was very clean and equipped with everything needed, towels, shower gels, mosquito spray even torque for dark night. More over the host offered us a grill in the evening and it was MAGICAL. When I was searching for some comments before I red positive opinions about dinner but couldn’t believe, what can be so unique about dinner, right? It turned out it can be! This was something special, barbecue with candles and sky full of starts, with a nice service and delicious food- AMAZING. And last but not least safari - I couldn’t imagine better experience. We joined a morning safari, that stated 5:30 AM, we had really experienced guide that spotted leopard and elephants as a first in the park! I was amazed, I was fluttered. Our host joined us on safari and took pictures with profesional camera that later he shared with us. 10/10 - highly recommended!

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. This property was in a beautiful setting! You feel very close to nature, with lots of trees, plants, birds. It is right on a lake. The owner, Anne, the manager, Amal, and each and every staff member were incredibly kind and professional. Our every need was met. We had full board, and the food exceeded our expectations! We were so full! There were lots of choices, but we had Sri Lankan food, it was just delicious! We had Tranquil book us two safaris, and we loved them! We didn’t see leopards, but another group did the same day we went out. We saw plenty of wildlife. A bonus was the fresh, clean pool for a morning or afternoon swim, with chairs to relax in the sun or shade. Thank you, Tranquil, for your hospitality. We’ll be back! We recommend this place and the park nearby, over the busier places.

Yala Village Eco Tree House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Tissamaharama, 10 km from Tissa Wewa. Everything about the place felt like a dream. So calm and peaceful and the lady of the property is absolutely fantastic.

Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Set in Kataragama in the Monaragala District region, with Kataragama Temple nearby, Wadula Safari - Yala offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great check-in experience with king coconut water. The staff was very responsive and proactive with regards to getting to the location as its in a remote area. Rooms were very beautiful - free standing building, high ceilings, nice bathroom.

Featuring a terrace, Tree Tops Yala is a villa, set in Yala. It provides free private parking. There is a seating area and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. The house was ideal to entertain a large group of people. The location was quiet and peaceful. Appu and his family were wonderful hosts. They prepared all of our meals and everything was delicious.

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Extremely friendly staff (they are absolute gems!!), great concept, amazing and tasty dinner, comfortable and well maintained room
