My first ever real dip into the pool and a crash course from Agathe helped my to restore my spirit for swimming since 1998. Grateful for her passionate coach and will keep it up in future. What holds one's heart here is the enthusiastic hosts, Dave & Melissa and regular friends who have strong determination and everlasting love for surfing. That aroused some kind of my wills to swim. Food here is fantastic. Sunset at Pantai Kura Kura, Syurga and Ekas bay are breathtaking. Thanks to Dave and Melissa. I got the golden chance via warm boat treat and intro to the Ekas oasis in magninificent glory of sunsets.

I loved that this cute house were in the middle of rice terrace, when I came, I got hot tea as welcome drink. Also home lady cookes very good. Breakfast was included. bed comfortable.

We fully enjoyed the stay by Jul and Nun. They are so welcoming people and ready to help with anything. We stayed for 5 nights and did a Mt. Rinjani trek where Jul can help as he is a guide. The accommodation is clean, nicely furnished and in a beautiful place near the jungle, close to shop and traditional village. There is a mosque nearby but not a problem, you will get earplugs from Jul if you are soft sleeper. The breakfast was tasty and Ila Homestay has a restaurant in case you get hungry during the day. Nun is able to help you with the laundry as well. We were a bit sad to leave the place and definitely would recommend to the ones who want to visit Senaru. I truly hope we meet with Jul and Nun again and wish them the very best.

Featuring mountain views, Poetri Bungalow & Restaurant in Senaru features accommodation, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Very nice and warm owner, she picked us up from the airport and stopped for the dinner on the way to Senaru even it was late evening, she organized scooter, guide for Ranjani and transfer to Kuta for very good price. Room was very good too, big double bed, nice bathroom and of course good view. Felt like home. Breakfast was amazing too, you could choose from different types of pancakes, omlette and couple more local meals.

With garden views, Aranka Tempasan is situated in Sangyang and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The owner is really friendly, the place is amazing and very peaceful and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. The outdoor shower is so relaxing.

Set 41 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest, Sembalun Kita Cottage offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. My stay at Sembalun Kita Cottage was one of the highlights of my entire trip. I met fellow travellers here who had done Rinjani, and as a solo traveller it is always a good sign if the accommodation is able to facilitate contact between guests. The room itself was gorgeous, waking up every morning with the view from the balcony really put me in the right headpsace for the day ahead. The real highlight at this accomodation was the staff - each staff member was friendly and did everything they could to meet the needs of the customer, day or night. The food that I had at the hostel was really excellent,and this is important considering most of the local places close at about 7pm, so if you want to eat a bit later in the evening, it's important that the hostel provides good quality food, which was the case at Sembalun Kita Cottages. The surrounding area is so incredivle I ended up extending my stay, and I organised a tour guide for Pergasingan Hill for sunrise which was truly epic! Can't rate Sembalun Kita Cottage highly enough, and Sembalun is a must for everyone visiting Lombok
