Morioka is a nice, quiet city and Tototo is in a lovely peaceful neighborhood. Dela-san, the owner is very friendly and helpful with information about the area. The Sunday dinner and Monday morning walk were both among some of my favorite highlights of my trip to Japan so far.

The holiday flat is quite close to the Sakura spot of Tenshochi Park and the Michinoku folk museum. The flat is located at the riverside with a lovely view and is decorated prettily. The owner is nice. She showed us some beautiful places when we arrived and drove us to the station when we had to leave.

Situated 16 km from Chuson-ji Temple, Matakitai offers 1-star accommodation in Ichinoseki and has a garden. The owner explained to a great extent how we could use the facilities in the property. This was the nicest typical Japanese house in the 3 weeks of travel we had

Located just 2.3 km from Morioka Station, Buchoho No Yado Morioka features accommodation in Morioka with access to free bikes, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Great staying in a Japanese house. It was self check in and instructions given before arrival sufficed. Having use of a bike made going round town a lot easier.

タカマス民宿 is located in Ōtsuchi, 10 km from Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium, 18 km from Kamaishi Station, and 41 km from Iwate Prefectural Fishery Science Museum. I stayed longer than I intended. The little town radiates peacefullness. And so does this guesthouse. I felt so comfortable and respected here. I was so perfectly treated I just wanted to stay longer. I actually did. And I want to go back. Live at the end of the world again, feel that small measure of peace again.

Rob and Ayami were great. They went out of the way to make sure we had what we needed and enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and organized. Daily shuttle to and from the slopes was provided. Nice little pub serving pizza on the property. The breakfast was perfect. Heated floors in the rooms made it nice and cozy and the showers were top notch!

Mixed Dormitory 6beds room- Vacation STAY 14724v is set in Morioka, 2.1 km from Morioka Ice Arena, 7.2 km from Iwayama Park Land, and 15 km from Shizukuishi Station. Very small and cozy, I liked it a lot. Felt relaxed and rather clean
