Very knowledgeable and friendly owner. Great little patio with an outdoors (covered) kitchen, tables and a sofa. Comfortable rooms, nicely decorated, with excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended.

At El Balcon de los Reyes rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Amazing view all around. The rooms are simple but well put together, clean, and comfortable. Excellent beds and warm bedding. Great shower with plenty of hot water. The pool, jacuzzi and steam bath were an awesome plus. The look of the lake and mountains is unparalleled. Breakfast was awesome. Beautiful place and great value.

The hostel is in a very quiet area and you can walk to the center in just a few minutes. I particularly liked the warm hospitality of the management and staff.

They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

I stayed in one of the river cabins, very comfyand beautiful interior, loved sleeping with the sound of the river. Andrea went out of herway to make us feel comfortable. I’m a very difficult eater butshe prepared me a special and delicious breakfast every morning (best I’ve had in Ecuador!) I hope to come back one day! Only thing I would recommend is to make a watertank freely available for guests (:

Located in Ibarra, 24 km from Otavalo, Hosteria Quinta San Miguel features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. An indoor pool is available for guests during the weekend. Amazing view and outstanding service and care for their guests. Chris and Gaby are amazing , very helpful and informative of places to go see. Also recommend their driver Edwin who took us to see great places around there. Recommend to all family and friends.

He knows the area well and is happy to give some tips as well as a lot of people to arrange the tours from the property. The dinner (not included) was home made and delicious, and next to the chemney. Overall very nice stay but too short (one night).
