Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

Set in Egilsstadir, within 5.9 km of Hengifoss and 45 km of Kirkjufoss, Hengifosslodge Skáldahús offers accommodation with a private beach area and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... It was really cozy and comfy with great views to the lake and the mountains. The staff was really kind, especially the woman with yellow jacket. In the room there was water and homemade cookies, we loved that detail.

Set in the quiet countryside of Eastern Iceland, these basic cottages are 7 minutes’ drive from the village of Vopnafjördur. It provides a kitchenette and free toiletries. We absolutely loved our stay here, it was real Icelandic countryside and the hosts were just so lovely.. we even got invited to the farm to see the animals! It was the best nights sleep on our whole Iceland trip, the kids slept until 10 am for the first time ever in their life! Such comfy beds and nice cottage. Really recommend this place for everyone and for families with younger kids it is awesome! Would love to come back one day!
