Housed in a Georgian mansion that dates to 1904, this Scottdale B&B features extensive collections of both artwork and historic and pre-prohibition whiskey. How many times do you get to spend a night in a museum? We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Our gracious hostess showed us around so that we could see all of the magnificent collections. She also told us about the history of the home including the bootleg whiskey that had been boarded up until she bought the house!We loved our rooms. I was in the oak room and my mother was in the parlor room. We also had a delicious breakfast.

Very spacious, well equipped apartment. Great communication from the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, from a camp bed for our son to a later check out. We found the local suggestions really helpful as well. The area itself was great, with lots of eating options and local supermarkets. We would happily have stayed much longer. Our six year old son loved it.
