I loved the host, the really comfortable bed, the parking, having no fuss access to the kitchen, and being able to meet other travelers from France Germany Nederlands and also NZ.

Just 1.4 km from the town centre, Gateway Motor Lodge - Wanganui offers free Wi-Fi access and free parking access, including parking for boats, horse floats and trucks. Friendly, clean, local to shops, city etc. We satiated three days and every day there were clean towels, room tidied, fresh milk. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Comfortable beds (most important). The shower was the best. You could write poetry about the shower pressure.

The Grand Hotel is located in the centre of Wanganui, opposite Cooks Gardens Sporting Complex. It offers free parking. All of the comfortable rooms include modern facilities. The room was awesome. Much better than the last time, lots of natural light aswell so it made the room super warm. Room was lovely I even had a bath. Which was great
