Our stay at this hotel was excellent. I especially want to mention the staff, absolutely everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful. Saskia Ambu helped us throughout our stay, helped us order a taxi and tuk-tuk, explained to the drivers where to take us and what we needed to find. A good attitude was manifested even in non-obvious things, such as giving us water to take with us in the car, treating us to a Sri Lankan dish and giving us a free visit to the sauna, but unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was delicious, dining room was clean, service was fast and high quality. Again all the staff are absolutely amazing. I also want to mention the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Wifi worked well and we were even able to watch a TV series from it.

La Grande Villa se encuentra en Nuwara Eliya, a 1,8 km del lago Gregory, y ofrece jardín y wifi gratis. Cuenta con restaurante y salón común. La casa de huéspedes es hermosa, nos recibieron muy bien, y nos ofrecieron un chocolate caliente con galletitas. Nos brindaron pantuflas para andar dentro del hotel. Todo el personal era muy amable y atento. La habitación tenía un diseño hermoso, muy cómoda, y con todos los detalles. Teníamos enchufes cerca de la cama, heladera y una televisión muy buena. La cama era espectacular, súper cómoda, con almohadas para todo gusto. Teníamos calefacción, lo cual fue muy importante porque cuando fuimos hacía frío. El baño era un lujo, la ducha caliente era buenísima, y salía con muy buena presión. El hidromasaje estaba muy bien conservado y funcionaba bien. El desayuno fue muy rico, al ser vegetarianos nos adaptaron el desayuno americano. Me encantaron los panqueques. Nos habríamos quedado a vivir allí!

El Townside Lodge se encuentra en Nuwara Eliya, a 2 km del lago Gregory, a 8 km del jardín botánico de Hakgala y a 500 metros del parque Victoria de Nuwara Eliya. The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.
