I've just had the most amazing 3 day stay at the family run Harini Villa. It's situated a 5 min walk from the main Junction bus stop & restaurants & it's lovely & peaceful. The room itself was perfect & spotless with a lovely patio area at the front where I had an amazing breakfast while watching the birds & monkeys. Breakfast was made & served by Dinu & it was delicious. Dinu took care to accommodate my request for gluten free food which I'm very grateful for. She also introduced me to a new dish each day (in addition to what else I was served). I had lovely chats with Wicky the owner, he was very attentive & made sure I had everything I needed & was comfortable. Pathum took me on a trip to Polonnaruwa & was a safe & efficient driver & he also made a suggestion to add in a trip to the Spice garden on the way back, which was very enjoyable. All up I would highly recommend staying at Harini - the beautiful & kind family will look after you. I hope that one day I will be able to stay here again - thankyou so much for looking after me!

The property is a true paradise and guarantees every type of travel expectation: to visit historical sites and discover nature, to relax, to integrate into the local culture. The bungalow is perfectly comfortable, well furnished, clean and spacious, surrounded by a lovely green. The swimming pool gave us a new vision of the holiday, and was very useful for us at the end of the day to relax after a whole day of sightseeing. Breakfast and dinner are really delicious. The staff asked us what we preferred and everything we wanted to eat was prepared for us. The owners are very sociable, humane, they were constantly close to our needs and requests and they ensured that we were satisfied: we felt at home. Strongly recommended and, believe me, you will have an amazing stay!

We loved the setting, the porch and the feeling of freedom when you are there. We loved the owner as he was really helpful with everything, organized us a safari trip and some tuktuks. We had an amazing breakfast and even better dinner. It was by far the best hosting family we had :) We highly recommend it!

The location was peaceful and had lots of beautiful views all around. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The hosts are lovely, welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have done more for us, always offering help and making sure we had the best time. Took us to multiple places to show us around and places we wanted to see including the sunrise hike. Every night we ate their homemade curry with their fresh vegetables that they grow! Delicious food! Also our booking came with free breakfast every morning.. also delicious! Felt we learnt lots about the food and culture with our stay :) Very lovely family, if we ever return to Sri Lanka we will be back!
