This was an 19th century manor house, complete with grounds. Very peaceful and out of the way. They were only serving breakfast but we were directed to a nice pub minutes away. Lots of sites within 30 minutes or less. The surrounding scenery was idyllic and the room was comfortable.

The hotel was modern and inviting with lots of little extras like snacks available for purchase. We did not take advantage of the spa or adjacent sports complex but it made a nice package for a longer stay. Comfortable beds, good shower and convenient restaurant with tasty offerings.

Historic town. EASILY walkable, cobbles notwithstanding.

Historic town. EASILY walkable, cobbles notwithstanding. Everything (historic sites, restaurants, waterfront) easily accessible from anywhere inside the walls. Could be problematic for driving, but we trained in so not a problem for us. Near-perfect weather helped, but would still be a nice visit even with wet weather.

Conwy was a beautiful town that we enjoyed very much. We could walk everywhere and see the castle from anywhere. There were a lot of pubs with good food and we also ate at 2 higher end restaurants that we enjoyed very much. Walk to the quay and enjoy the locals and tourists having a good time.

We went to Conway for an Easter break with our 4 year old Grandchild. We also took our well behaved dog Harvey. We have travelled all over Europe with our dog and never had a problem taking him anywhere. However most restaurants, pubs and shops in Conway we found would not allow dogs. Even the castle where we were unable to experience this main attraction with our grandchild and the staff being very dismissive when we asked. We were not allowed into the shoe shop! Despite having a wonderful cottage to stay in, we will not be staying in Conway again and will inform other dog owners of this unfriendly side to the town.

Quiet at this time of year, (February) gets very busy in summer. We found a good Indian restaurant, Spice Safai, only very small, but the food was very good. Parking charges during the day are a bit high, not very welcoming for visitors, but they have you over a barrel! The castle dominates the town and is quite something. We didn't visit it perhaps next time. Lots of quirky shops etc.

Conwy is a beautiful medieval walled town and is a World Heritage Site. Conwy Castle is stunning and greets you as you drive over the bridge into Conwy, looking even more stunning when it is lit up at night. Plas Mawr can be found in the centre of the town. Also, a popular 1920's public house called The Albion. Fishing boats line the pretty quay, where you will also find the Smallest House and The Liverpool Arms, with a backdrop of Conwy Mountain. Conwy marina is just around the corner with a lovely pub/restaurant, The Mulberry, a stones throw from the golf club. Lots of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious meals. Great location. Conveniently situated across the street from the Market Place carpark where those driving can pay/park overnight. Steps away from all the landmarks in the town of Conwy. Appreciated also was a welcome note when checking in. Of particular note, which I almost missed reading, is that breakfast during week days starts at 07:30, but 08:00 on weekends and you must alert them daily to your desire for your choice of breakfast seating the next morning.

I was down for the weekend exploring north Wales. I drove and found lots of places to visit within a 30 drive of the hotel. Conwy has lots to see and Llandudno was only 30ish mins away by car and easy to spend a whole day there so the hotel sits in a good location. Nice that the rooms had hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee. It was nice and quiet location, benches outside to sit and eat. Staff were very friendly at check in. Really liked that the car park was so big too plenty of spaces.

We really adored the individual retro style of the hotel. Our room was cosy but also had plenty of space, including our own little sitting room. The furnishings, artworks and collectables, all so carefully chosen by our hosts, make this a truly original and fun place to stay. The bed was very comfy, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The hotel is really close to city walls and Conwy Castle, so views from our room were lovely. Plenty of good pubs nearby too.

Outstanding B&B. Location was perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions in Conwy, and only a short drive from both Snowdonia and the beach. The B&B itself was decorated immaculately throughout, tastefully in theme of the converted Welsh Methodist Church building. Facilities were excellent quality and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Staff were welcoming and hospitable throughout.

the property is within walking distance from the castle and town centre. extremely clean rooms and although I didn’t have an en-suite, (room 4’s bathroom is down the hall) it was clean and not an inconvenience. there is a fridge where you can keep your items and has milk and water for you to take, which is brilliant. the breakfast was absolutely delicious and a range of juices and cereal is available.

We went to visit down memory lane where my partner spent her early years with her family. The location was absolutely ideal for that. Easy walking distance into Conwy and Deganwy, with LLandudno Junction Railway station close by. I booked this on the strength of previous reviews and we were not disappointed. A lovely place and we are already making plans to return.

The hotel is in an excellent position for touring the north Wales coastline. We had an excellent large room with sea views and views of Conwy Castle. Evening meals were good overall but could have done with more options on the menu. There was a birthday card waiting in the room for my wife which was a nice gesture.
