Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

Boasting a garden and a shared lounge, Hotel Ubudo is located in Matsushima and is 900 metres from Entsuin Temple. We like everything about the hotel.

Tokinenoyado Yunushiichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The hotel itself is really nice. Staffs were great. They have good English speaking staffs for foreigners. Our room was nice and clean. Most likely recently renovated. We booked half-board and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in a private room, in the old building. Onsen was also nice.

かっぱの宿旅館三治郎 features indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and various facilities including karaoke rooms and a sauna. The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D

Ubytovanie má výhodnú polohu v destinácii Sendai v štvrti Taihaku Ward 19 km od miesta Sendai City Community Support Center, 38 km od miesta Svätyňa Shiogama a 18 km od miesta Zámok Aoba v Sendai. Food was great. It was nice to have continued snacks and drinks in the lobby all day. Midnight curry udon was fun. The baths were beautiful.

The hotel was fairly close to the station. We had to walk for only 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop. My room was spacious even though it had a single mattress on tatami floor. The facility had 24x7 hot water and the air conditioning kept me warm throughout my stay. The proprietors were super kind to drop us at the train station on a rainy day. Also, she dropped us at the ferry to Tashirojima island because we would’ve missed it if we had taken the bus!

The meals were fantastic - dinner, especially, was a multicourse affair, complete with fresh seafood and other specialties. They even accommodated some dietary requirements.

Ubytovanie Matsushima Koumura sa nachádza v destinácii Matsushima 10 km od miesta Svätyňa Shiogama a 24 km od miesta Sendai City Community Support Center. Beautiful, traditional ryokan not far from Matsushima Station. You can get to the main attractions in Matsushima on foot in about 20-30 minutes comfortably. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. The view the room was outstanding! The staff members went above and beyond to help us. My wife has celiac disease and needed special care to be taken with meals and they did an amazing job of providing 2 very large and intricate safe meals each day with no issue.
