Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

Hotel Ubudo ligger i Matsushima, 900 meter fra Entsuin-templet, og har have og fælles opholdsstue. We like everything about the hotel.

Tokinenoyado Yunushiichijoh ligger i bydelen Kamasaki Onsen i Shiiishi, 15 minutters kørsel fra Shiroishi Station og Shiroishi-Zao Station. Der er restaurant på stedet. The hotel itself is really nice. Staffs were great. They have good English speaking staffs for foreigners. Our room was nice and clean. Most likely recently renovated. We booked half-board and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in a private room, in the old building. Onsen was also nice.

They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D

Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita ligger i Ishinomaki, 37 km fra Shiogama-helligdommen og 49 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Great value for money. The host was very welcoming and we had a really nice conversation via google translate that felt like we really connected with her.

Beautiful, traditional ryokan not far from Matsushima Station. You can get to the main attractions in Matsushima on foot in about 20-30 minutes comfortably. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger lige foran Matsushima-bugten og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis internet via kabel. The staff were very nice and friendly. Also, the view from the room was gorgeous, since it's very near in Fukuura bridge, it can be seen from window. And the breakfast was delightful. A great experience and taste of a formal Japanese breakfast.

Kesennuma Plaza Hotel har sauna og gratis privat parkering og ligger mindre end 13 km fra Osabe-minato og 47 km fra Ichinoseki Station. The room in traditional style was huge, with beautiful view. The hotel is on the hill, parkin lot is at the foot of the hill, there's an elevator directly to the hotel. They have nice onsen.
