Search resorts in Mount Desert Island

Room, view, grounds, restaurants, pet-friendliness. Pet-friendly hotels are typically somewhat run-down. This resort was not.

Location and views. It is about 1.5 miles from Bar Harbor waterfront, where all the restaurants/stores are. The views from the resort are great. Some of the rooms are truly oceanview. Open the window and there is the bay/ocean. Also, there is a boat tour that leaves from there as well. The staff was great. Breakfast included, basic, but still breakfast. Rooms were spacious. Nice selection of channels on TV. Only 3 min drive to entrance to Acadia National Park

Excellent location. very family friendly. Tiki bar next to pool really did make it feel like a resort!

We ended up staying at the sister resort across the street which was exceptional. The staff at both places were excellent. We would highly recommend either place.

nothing. they forgot to mention that their standard rooms are in annex, which is away from main resort with no connection what so ever with resort. rooms had water stains on the ceilings. toilet did not flush well till you held it down, making sure everything flushed. carpets were dated from 70'. this was like staying in holiday inn at airport which has not been updated for years and you should be paying 99$ a night not 589 $.

Beautiful resort with wonderful views. All the rooms had balconies overlooking the water. Parking right by your unit.

We actually never stayed at this property. Our reservation was changed to the Harborside Soa and Resort. We received an e mail two days before our stay at Holiday Inn Regency saying they were “upgrading “ us to the Harborside because they had not opened yet. We were very happy with the Harborside and actually stayed an extra day.

Location was great. Charming resort, nice staff. Piano performance in the evening was nice.
