We did the 3 point snorkelling tour, the Best of Perhentian and the full day tour and all 3 activities where really good and well organized and we say so many types of fish, turtles, baby sharks and beautiful nature. And the staff is very service-minded and helpful both in the reception, the restaurants and the activity center and you feel very welcome.

Set amidst a tropical jungle, Tunabay Island Resort provides air-conditioned rooms and chalets with a private balcony. This property houses a restaurant and offers guests with a variety of recreational activities. Perfect place to stay. Chalet was clean and nice, with safe, aircondition and small terrace. Food at restaurant was very good and quite a choise. Staff was very friendly. Before arrival we communicated on WhatsApp and they helped us to organize transport to the island. Beach is great, wide and sandy. You can snorkel just from the Tuna bay beach, and there are beautiful corals and fishes just 20 meters from the coast, amazing! Equipment can be borrowed from the resort. They also organize snorkeling trips and other activities. Resort is just on the edge of jungle, we were nicely suprised that there were no mosquitos or any other insects. Overall it's great place, quiet, perfect for relax and with coral reef so close. We hope to come back one day!

Certain rooms feature a balcony with sea view. The room is spacious. There is a safe, and even beach towels were provided. No shampoo or hair dryer but I knew that from reading other reviews when I booked. Staff was all cheerful and eager to help. Internet was decent and electricity/ AC was 24/7. Our standard room was right by the store. Not much privacy. We were OK with it but the higher grade ones are upstairs and would be a lot quieter.

The service is what really sets BuBu apart, the staff are always so lovely, always with a smile, especially in the bar/restaurant, they have a great team. Thank you for another wonderful stay.
