The beachfront property has a private beach and an outdoor restaurant on site. This was the holiday of a lifetime. A fantastic experience for all of us (2x 60+ somethings and 2x 20+ somethings). Carla and her entire team without exception were attentive, friendly, and each very interesting in their own individual way. From first impressions (the porter carrying a 25Kg suitcase from the landing boat up the beach to the hotel - on his head!!), through the welcome drink and Carla's very helpful introduction to island life, the food, and happy hour cocktails every day that you can set your watch by ready for the evenings activities along the beach (fire show, lots of excellent food, beach bars), will remain in our memories for a very long time - well at least until we return again!! The beach was a great blend of very clean, and lively enough to be interesting without overcrowding (the two weeks before Europe schools break for summer). So much to do too! We were here 8 nights and were busy right through, snorkelling with turtles, baby shaks (sic), little Nemo's and a whole host of other tropical fish. We were lucky enough to see, on two separate days, turtles come up the beach in front of the hotel to lay 100+ eggs (taken to a local sanctuary for hatching and release), and watch the mothers (Shirley Turts and Lily Shelby) make their way back to the water after dark. Amazing wildlife. A short day trip to Redang island was very worthwhile too - beautiful beaches. The boat boys (GreenBoys next to the hotel) were super helpful and friendly for all our excursions out to sea. We made a great number of ongoing social media friends on this trip. We used the spa on several occasions - June's massages were terrific after a long day in the sun and sea.

A truly amazing place with high focus on eco-marine life and sustainability initiatives such as avoiding use of plastic bottles etc. Beautiful views from rooms and the terrace and nice comfortable beds. We did the 3 point snorkelling tour, the Best of Perhentian and the full day tour and all 3 activities where really good and well organized and we say so many types of fish, turtles, baby sharks and beautiful nature. And the staff is very service-minded and helpful both in the reception, the restaurants and the activity center and you feel very welcome.

Set amidst a tropical jungle, Tunabay Island Resort provides air-conditioned rooms and chalets with a private balcony. This property houses a restaurant and offers guests with a variety of recreational activities. Staff is really friendly, the beach and coral just a few steps away, beautiful water, great snorkeling and swimming just out front, good restaurant and breakfast buffet. The staff can take care of transport and all of the activities, it's very convenient. We met the owner and he was extremely friendly. Wifi everywhere. You can relax and not do much or you can do a different activity everyday. This island is a rare gem, it's undeveloped and beautiful but developed just enough to be comfortable.

Suhaila Palace offers beachfront accommodation in Perhentian Besar Island. Free WiFi is available in public areas and guests can do various water sports activities. Bubu Resort is a 35-minute boat ride from Kuala Besut Jetty. Kuala Terengganu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty is a 100 km drive, while Kota Bharu Airport is 60 km away from the jetty. Whilst it remains one of the more expensive places to stay on Long Beach, it also remains the best place to eat. The service is what really sets BuBu apart, the staff are always so lovely, always with a smile, especially in the bar/restaurant, they have a great team. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Located around a few steps from Long Beach, the resort with free WiFi is also a few steps away from Pantai Cendrawasih Beach. The resort has family rooms. The view is magnificent same goes to the staff very friendly . This is my second time stays here . One thing for sure our room don’t have “ table “ at balcony even after we ask the receptionist . There are plenty of room unoccupied so why we didn’t get the table , we paid RM1300 in total for our stay you knoww not pay RM60 per night . In future property can add “ kettle “ in the room or just water dispenser at the main lobby is enough for guest to get the hot water during midnight.

Towels and linen are available. a really great stay. we’d been on the other island and staying on Long Beach and we were so happy when we moved over here because we paid a similar price for a MUCH nicer place and we liked how quiet this island was, especially in the off season. the room was clean, the bathroom was nice. we weren’t in a chalet but the block of rooms, everything is so close to the beach though.

Featuring a balcony, every room in this resort comes either fan-cooled or air-conditioned. Homely rooms come with a private bathroom that has a bidet and shower. Great location and lovely beach right in front of the resort, although basic the room had everything I needed with the most beautiful view of the sunsets. The restaurant had a small menu but great food overall.
