Nice, quiet location, got beach to ourselves practically. Rooms are beautiful, bed very comfy, bathroom well equipped and nicely spaced out, balcony with gorgeous view of the ocean!

Hard Rock Hotel Penang, som ligger ved Batu Ferringhi-stranden, er et moderne hotel. The hotel had a really cool vibe. After travelling in basic accommodation for 2 weeks we splashed out a little more to stay here for 2 nights and we didn’t regret it. The bed was comfy, the gym was great for me, the pool with swim up bar was fab and we used that a lot. Things are more pricey at the hotel but you expect that when staying at a Hard Rock.

Perfect place with kids. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast great. Pools great. Would definitely come again.

Overlooking Batu Feringgi Beach, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang offers spacious rooms surrounded by 30 acres of tropical gardens. I would give an 11 score if it was possible. Staff were so pleasant, courteous and helpful. Pool was really nice and clean. Absolutely love the landscaped garden around the pool. Dining at Pinang restaurant looking at the sunset and under the large tree... sensational. Room was large and clean, beds comfortable. I really struggle to find any issues. Don't quite understand what some reviewers mean when they say it's "dated" and "old". They must have gotten the wrong Rasa Sayang. There is ample to do at the resort. For the first time in my travel life, I was actually glad it was raining and I had to stay back in the hotel. Just sitting by the outdoor lobby area, sipping coffee and watching the rain around the landscaped garden / pool area was in itself a relaxing experience.
