If you are planning to visit Tioman Island and are looking forward to the underwater scenery you saw in the Nemo movie, I definitely recommend this accommodation in Genting Village. The reason is that the sea in front of the x-recter accommodation is specialized in snorkelling and is incomparable to the sea in front of other villages. This is not a tourist spot like Paya, but a quiet, beautiful village where local people live in peaceful harmony and is not crowded with tourists as well. Host Yee has underwater maps in his brain derived from his long experience, and seems to be a wonderful instructor and host who can not only help with snorkelling and free diving, but also heal people who are afraid of the sea. While our family was there, we saw one of the most powerful and unforgettable sights which we have never experienced before. During the advanced snorkelling session with host Yee and his lovely mother, I was able to see a sea turtle from half a meter distance. Following Yee's guidance, we carefully approached the sea turtle and were able to touch its back shell avoiding its mouth. Circling around us were many sharks which appear to be as long as 1M. In addition, there were puffer fish groups, eels nestled between the rocks, and colorful, pretty fish and corals. To be honest I've seen the Nemo fish so many times during snorkelling that it felt ordinary compared to other special fish. Above all, I think I have never seen such a magnificent, colorful and beautiful coral area in my life. It felt like an extended version of the Nemo movie that actually exists. It felt unreal and so extraordinary that it felt bigger than the movie itself. Next, let's talk about his accommodation. In short it is not a large-scale luxurious resort, but he and his family who run the accommodation are very efficient and they did not cause any disturbance so that we did not feel any inconvenience during our stay.

The beach offers easy access to the reef and snorkeling was possible for anyone of any skill level. If you enjoy nature, this is a great place to stay. There is abundant sea life (sea turtles, baby sharks, sting rays and lots of tropical fish species) and jungle inhabitants (monkeys, giant squirrels, lizards) etc.

The rooms were comfy and clean. We had connecting rooms that faced the sea. The beds were comfy and the toilets were very clean.

Personale .olto gentile e disponibile. Il cameriere Hossain ci ha datto consigli preziosi e il barman del loby Sudeep ha creato un cocktail expecialy per me strawberry- daiquiri e ha avuto la pazienza e la gentilezza di spiegarci come funziona il grande tavolo di biliardo 🎱. In due giorni del nostro soggiorno abbiamo mangiato nei due ristoranti e sono stati sue esperienze molto diverse, ma positive. La colazione non è molto varia,ma di qualità buona ed è tutto fatto al momento. Il ragazzo che ci ha pulito la camera ( non lo so il nome) e stato anche molto carino a prendersi tempo per d3corare il nostro letto. Grazie a tutto lo staff!
