The resort is at the riverside, nice view and very quiet.

At Kandy Mountain Cottage rooms are equipped with a desk, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast was amazing, best we’ve had in sri lanka! Property is a private self contained apartment (with kitchen) in a quiet neighbourhood in the hills near Kandy. The apartment was originally intended for the owners parents to visit (a Doctor) though it is now mostly rented out. Clean throughout (no bad odours), spacious and comfortable with a good breakfast. Owner is amazingly nice, considerate and went over and above to make us feel welcome; picked us up from town and took us to the sights the next day; checked that were OK getting back from dinner the next day. We were advised that Tuk Tuk price from central Kandy was about 350-500 LKR; and we were able to find something in that range evening on Christmas Eve. There is limited commerce/restaurants directly around the neighbourhood. Something to be aware of though it did not affect our satisfaction given the hosts abundant hospitality.

The owners were so nice it was like home away from home they prepared beautiful vegetarian dinner for us and a packed breakfast as we left early, beautiful clean room with super comfy beds I would definitely return.
