This place is a gem. The rooms are fabulous. Very luxurious feel in the rooms and common areas. Food was delicious with lots of choice. The staff are wonderful, attentive without ever being intrusive. The cleaning is impeccable. We stayed here for our last two days in Sri Lanka and it was a great place to relax and unwind.

Our stay during the christmas days at Ahu Bay was excellent. Amazing views, spacious Rooms all with sea view, delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff. They really make every wish come true. I would rate the overall experience 10/10 and would really recommend it. Espacially to couples for a nice and romantic getaway in wonderful Sri Lanka!

The moment I stepped into Malabar Hill Hotel, I felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. The spacious rooms exude warmth, and each is spotlessly clean, offering cozy comforts that make you feel right at home. But what took my breath away was the balcony view. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! Haritha Villas +. De spa ligt op een heuvel en onder een baldakijn van bomen, op minder dan 1 km van het strand van Narigama en op 1,2 km van het strand van Hikkaduwa. Dit was ons mooiste verblijf in Sri Lanka. Deze plek is niet te vergelijken met andere hotels waar we eerder verbleven. Het is zeer privé, het is middenin de jungle, zo smaakvol ingericht en de verzorging is uitmuntend. De villa heeft prachtige badkamers, heerlijke bedden. Er zijn zoveel geweldige details, aan alles is gedacht. De nachten dat wij er waren heeft Roshan ons uitstekend verzorgd. Normaal zijn wij niet zo gesteld op iemand die veel in one buurt is. Maar bij Roshan voelden wij ons thuis en op ons gemak. Ik ben ook zo verrast op mijn verjaardag. Het is onvergetelijk wat we hier hebben mogen ervaren. De Ayurvedische behandelingen die je kunt krijgen zijn fantastisch en echt de moeite waard om te doen. Dit hotel is iets voor op je bucketlist!

This incredible property is one of the few to be situated right on the beach, with all the rooms overlooking the sea. Everything about this small hotel is wonderful! The swimming pool, also overlooking the ocean, has ample space to relax; and their restaurant has to be the best in the area. Everything we ate was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed longer. There is a natural tidal pool within easy walk and I had at least one turtle join me every time I swam there. My husband surfed right outside! No need for jumping into a tuk tuk to search for waves. Jamu surf hostel is just 2 roads away where daily drop in yoga classes are offered. Oh and best of all…the staff! So very friendly and helpful! All in all, a phenomenal stay!

Mooie ruime en nette kamers. Aardige eigenaar/hosts. Wij kregen gratis een upgrade van budget kamer naar deluxe kamer. Heerlijk verblijf gehad 😀

Het Arcadia Resort in Hikkaduwa ligt op respectievelijk 300 en 500 meter van de bushalte en het strand van Hikkaduwa. This property is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Few people were here; it feels like a home. Jay, the one who looks after the place, is very helpful, and he always oversees the place. He told us we can cook in the upstairs kitchen. The three-room apartment feels like home too. Since one room was booked, we got one from there and two rooms next to the pool. The calm and relaxing atmosphere, paired with the breathtaking landscaping, make it a truly special place.
