Very good choice for the winter days, as the Carbona complex has everything you need, including the medicinal water of the Heviz lake, so you don't need to go out in bad weather. At last, but not least, it worth to mention the kind host who took care of us, watching we have everything we need. A good bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water were waiting for us at arrival. In the middle of a 17 hectare estate, close to the Lake Héviz, this 4-story hotel offers traditional Hungarian Hévizi treatments, a beauty and hair salon. Exceeded our expectations. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both really tasty with a wide range of food. The spa is good. The thermal lake is a short 10 minutes walk away, but one can get the same water in the hotel's spa. Really enjoyed the sauna and the pools. The staff were cheerful and friendly.
