From the start we were greeted by the friendly pickup team who supplied a much needed cold beer. Arriving at the island we were stunned by the beauty and how well maintained it is. All the staff were excellent, especially the receptionist, extremely funny and helpful and the chef who crafted us some amazing meals. Our overwater cabana was exactly what it looked like online. just beautiful waking up over the ocean with a sunrise. Aircon, clean, well equipped, comfortable bed and good bathroom. There is a bar, many spots to chill and games should you get bored with relaxing in paradise.

The bungalows at this beautiful resort are totally air-conditioned and come equipped with a private balcony with excellent sea views. The spacious suites have a seating area with a sofa. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Hotel and grounds were meticulously clean. The food at the restaurant was wonderful (particularly the breakfasts!). Great location in near a very cute town with extremely friendly local residents and near a dive shop. Loved the over-the-water ceviche restaurant!

Special thanks to Travis, Michelle and Adelma at the restaurant (I did not get the names of the other staff members there but everyone was very nice), Robert and Natasha in the office, Edd and Dennis who helped with the booking of excursions, and of course Pablo - who shared his knowledge, enthusiasm and love of his country.

Kyle was extremely informative, accommodating, and his many years in hospitality is clearly an asset to this resort. My husband and I would go back and stay again here when visiting placencia belize.
