I want to thank Mrs. Ranessa for her warm service during my stay and also my Host Mr. Jean Carlos for being part of the magnificent experience I had there, I love their Spa services, I hope to see you soon because I will be back. Located in Christ Church, 300 metres from Long Bay, OceanBlue Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. An, honestly, unexpected gem when you drive there. The neighborhood looks a bit shabby and does not invite you for an evening walk. But…the resort exceeds its own description. The complex is designed in Mediterranean/African architecture with Gaudi-like shapes and works by local artists. The rooms have been perfectly renovated (2023), really spotless and cared for down to the last detail. The resort borders the tempestuous ocean and has a beautiful private swimming pool. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice to know that one of the managers/owners (?) is called Liesje, a typically Dutch name. Yet she is not from the Low Countries. The surroundings may be a bit less, but the resort has all the amenities. Too bad that the bar and restaurant are separate, so you have to pay separately each time. But that seems to have something to do with taxes. The small negatives outweigh the value for money. And therefore a: 10
