Beautiful resort hotel right on the water! Staff was very friendly. Room was large and clean and comfortable we had a balcony in which we could sit out and enjoy the ocean view. We got engaged on the small beach in front of hotel will always be a memorable stay for us. Would definitely recommend we will be back to stay again.

Beautiful surroundings. Rooms are spread out resort style and quiet. Lots of attention to detail making it both perfect for us(couple in their 60’s) and families.

Room, view, grounds, restaurants, pet-friendliness. Pet-friendly hotels are typically somewhat run-down. This resort was not.

I booked Days Inn, but when we arrived, they sent us to Holiday Inn resort across the street for the same price. They said that Days Inn is overbooked. It was a good deal. The resort is nice: overlooking the bay. The breakfast was free for us (not free for the original resort guests).

Location and views. It is about 1.5 miles from Bar Harbor waterfront, where all the restaurants/stores are. The views from the resort are great. Some of the rooms are truly oceanview. Open the window and there is the bay/ocean. Also, there is a boat tour that leaves from there as well. The staff was great. Breakfast included, basic, but still breakfast. Rooms were spacious. Nice selection of channels on TV. Only 3 min drive to entrance to Acadia National Park

We were actually upgraded to the the Holiday Inn resort across the street. It was close to the pier for us as we were taking the CAT the next day to Nova Scotia.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel while exploring Acadia. We spent most days out exploring but the resort was a great place to return in the evenings. The pool is great and located on the harbor. It is a great place to unwind, read, hangout after long days. The hotel was clean and our room was facing the harbor which was lovely. The hotel is close to the center of Bar Harbor but located outside of the main couple of streets which was really nice as that area of town can get pretty crowded.
