I'm here for the second time, it's always beautiful. Hotel directly on the beach with nice and professional staff, very clean place with beautiful wooden decorations. Delicious food and the view from the restaurant of the ocean and the island - something wonderful. I'll definitely come back in three months

Excellent location for quiet vacations. The tide change the view all the time. The villas are spacious, well equipped and modern designed. The sea view villas gives you the privacy that you want. The food was excellent , the chef overcome our expectations. Service was really good. The free massage in spa was very nice and the girls really polite. We didn't want to go out of the hotel area because it was perfect.

Everything was just PERFECT! We traveled with our 2 years old so it was a great advantage to have the whole spacious bungalow for us (and not just some tiny hotel room). The pool is perfect for a family with such a little kiddo as it is divided to two parts - in one there is just a water lower than knees so great for a toddler. Domenico (the owner) is great as a person and also a great chef. He prepares whatever you need for you - for breakfast and also during the rest of the day. The beach is private and yes - you cannot really swim in the ocean in the eastern part of Zanzibar. No big deal for us - the accommodation is close to the beach in the calm area. Anyway, it is nice walk on the beach to see all the locals who try to sell you anything on this planet. :) We also walked to the other resorts, you can swim in theirs pools if you buy something (a drink or food). Also can use other resorts restaurants and services if wanted. If you are a family with a toddler or small kids, this is must have place to stay for you! :) Highly recommended!! PS: We also went to Kendwa to check the place and we decided to stay here in Kiwengwa. Kendwa is (from my personal view) for younger people who like to party. And it is also super super crowded! No relax vacation vibe or feeling. We believe that it is better to stay in Kiwengwa if you are a family with a little kid.

This is our second review if this beautiful property. we managed to extend our first seven days for additional four days and we have never regretted our decision. Wonderful resort, comfortable rooms, beds, exceptionally clean, wonderful staff in all areas. Special thanks to our good friends at the reception Said and Mohamed, and Zebron and Stella in the restaurant. These wonderful people manage their respective guest services to the satisfaction of all resort guests. we have had no complaints or anything bad to say. we hope we will be able to come back again as we really loved absolutely everything about this property. Food choices are always fresh and abundant…Challenge is to stay away from gaining a few extra pounds. Beautiful and well maintained gardens, swimming pools, pathways, beach, facilities, habitations…everything. We highly recommend this resort.

The room was basic but comfortable, with nice view to the garden. The staff is really nice. I appreciate that I could stay longer in the room on my last day, as my flight was late in the evening, that helped a lot. It’s not a luxury hotel, but still a beautiful place to stay and relax. I stayed at a number of places while in Zanzibar, and Karibu was by far the best, to the point that when we left and was staying somewhere else, we still went back and had dinner on the beach there. A special shout out to Mary who really did help in making our stay one to remember and organised everything we needed and asked for. A big thank you from me, and I would highly recommend Karibu Beach Resort to anyone wanting to find a quite bit of paradise.
