Nice, quiet location, got beach to ourselves practically. Rooms are beautiful, bed very comfy, bathroom well equipped and nicely spaced out, balcony with gorgeous view of the ocean!

The hotel had a really cool vibe. After travelling in basic accommodation for 2 weeks we splashed out a little more to stay here for 2 nights and we didn’t regret it. The bed was comfy, the gym was great for me, the pool with swim up bar was fab and we used that a lot. Things are more pricey at the hotel but you expect that when staying at a Hard Rock.

I would give an 11 score if it was possible. Staff were so pleasant, courteous and helpful. Pool was really nice and clean. Absolutely love the landscaped garden around the pool. Dining at Pinang restaurant looking at the sunset and under the large tree... sensational. Room was large and clean, beds comfortable. I really struggle to find any issues. Don't quite understand what some reviewers mean when they say it's "dated" and "old". They must have gotten the wrong Rasa Sayang. There is ample to do at the resort. For the first time in my travel life, I was actually glad it was raining and I had to stay back in the hotel. Just sitting by the outdoor lobby area, sipping coffee and watching the rain around the landscaped garden / pool area was in itself a relaxing experience.

The property is located near the beach so you can get a seaview. It is not directly beachfront but there is a bridge which connects you to the beach. Need to note that the sea was not swim able
