Incredible facilities and location! The view of Mt. Fuji is gorgeous. The private onsens are all different themes, we spent the entire night trying all of them. Waking distance from lake kawaguchiko with friendly staff. Don't forget to book their courtesy bus to pick you up from the station and the day you leave! The breakfast I highly recommend, it's amazing with so much variety and comes with a fantastic view on clear days!

The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes; the little luxury items that made a difference. We stayed a few days to look around Mt Fuji with a hired car, so I can’t comment on location in terms of public transport. There is a shopping mall nearby, it’s handy to buy a few things. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. The coffee shop next to the carpark has great coffee.

Even if the bathrooms and sbower room are shared, the staff keeps it clean and good smell. They have complete ammenities too, like bath towels, blow dry and hair iron and curler, heater for the shower area, nice set of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Plus what I like is their mist type shower head.

If one expects as fancy ryokan, this is not the place. You will however find a place that is unique and captures the wonderful atmosphere of a bygone era (in this case the Showa Jidai).
