The staff were exceptional. Very courteous and always willing to help. The food was great as was the property itself. The organic farm was very interesting and our kids loved the place. The dance performances were also a great way to relax in the evenings.

It is a relative new establishment. The location, ambience, cleanliness, hospitality and behavior of all staff deserves special mention. The indoor games facilities, adventure games and spa facilities were all excellent. All the staff were very supportive and friendly displaying pleasant attitude. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Undoubtedly one of the best experience I just have enjoyed at Lakepalace, Thekkadi. The location of the property is something beyond explanation. The staff and the ambiences are double super. The behaviour and attitude of the staff were a heart touching!!! The property has an ancient and historical value. One may not get ultra luxury but 101% worth of your money.

The room was lovely, the staff (Sarath and Mani) were very helpfu and friendly and the food was excellent. Location is good, 15 minutes walk from the two center, next to the jungle so you can see some monkeys

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this resort for 4 nights. However, when we got to the resort, we were welcomed with a welcome drink (ginger tea) and were led to our room - the mountain view room. As we had reached the resort past sunset, we didn't get to see anything from the balcony of our room as it was pitch dark outside. The room was excellent, it was a wooden cabin with almost ceiling to floor glass window panes. We woke up to the sound of bird calls and also some monkey hoots in the distance. We loved the serenity of the resort, even though it had only 13 rooms, it felt really upmarket and beautifully designed. The breakfast options were great, a good mix of south indian, north indian and western food options with fruit juices. Lunch and dinner options were good too. The resort managers (Mr. Prakash, Ms. Indu) and the staff at the restaurant were really welcoming and made our stay a good one. All in all, we highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a short getaway from your routine lives!
