Tumsong Tea Retreat was an incredible stay- the room was large, the location was serene and we were given tea whenever we requested alongside a fantastic tour of the tea factory. I was amazed by the quality of the food and by the hospitality that was provided as well.

A wonderful hotel in Darjeeling. Off the main road (so as to avoid the crowd on busy days) and yet still at a walking distance from every attraction in the city. Room spacious and comfortable but the real bonus of the hotel is the wonderful staff who goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our warmest recommendation is to the hotel restaurant especially at dinner time. We ate in a few restaurants outside (also got recommendations from different sites) but nothing can compare to the excellent food we ate at this hotel. Tasty, fair price and the service is definitely worth the stay, we stayed here for 3 nights and didn't miss our dinner at the hotel (although it wasn't part of the holiday package we bought). I would especially like to stand out the 2 wonderful ladies who served us at the restaurant: Karuma and Smita who were very kind, and gave perfect service. Thanks for making our holiday so enjoyable.
