Lomani Island Resort features a 7-km private beach, and has timber decks with spectacular ocean views. Facilities include a fitness centre, restaurant and a 35-metre freshwater swimming pool.

Our room was spectacular, very private, spacious and spotless. We loved the outdoor shower and giant bathroom. The bedroom had high ceilings, a comfortable seating area and ample space for luggage and clothing. The outside space was also comfy with two Adirondack chairs and a Day bed for afternoon snoozing. The food was spectacular.

However, it is clearly only suitable for families with children and the whole resort is designed for this. Friendly staff, free use of water sports equipment, food is fine. We particularly liked the snack bar. Overall quite cheap compared to some other resorts.

The pool and garden were the best thing, the kids had a ball in the pool and so much fun wandering around the garden looking for frogs and coconuts they could break open. It was great to have a little distance between us and the resort, felt like our own secret hideaway.

The family resort was quite wild and not what we would have been looking for in this location, and the adults only resort was too stuffy when we visited. Musket Cove offers a great mix...some families, casual atmosphere, great staff, very relaxing setting. Met all our hopes for a trip like this. Also the meals provided with our stay were amazing!
