They even have a beautiful platform with a great view on swamp and forest from where we saw many birds and even some wildlife. The rooms are comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Special mention to the staff who made our stay amazing! Barnabas, Moses and Careen made us feel right at home. Barnabas also arranged a very skilled local birding guide with whom we went birding for two days.

The facilities were great, it has breakfast included with many different options and they were tasty. The host, Ivan, is an encyclopedia of knowledge on Uganda and surrounding areas. He helped book a tour for me and also transport to the border with Rwanda. I would definitely stay here again.

The hospitality was top notch and amazing. The house is run by some of the friendliest people in Uganda. The reception was awesome and we totally felt like we were at home! We were treated so respectfully by the hosts that we would willingly have stayed if we had the time.

We had a great night at the homestay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast is served on site and dinner is just a short drive away. Both were delicious. Our host Emily went above and beyond to make our stay better and helped us sort our Gorilla Trek the next day. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mgahinga!

The community involvement is amazing. They go out of the way to help. The food was top notch. Room was good. Shower hot and strong. But really the people make this place.
