Truly unique stay in a troglodyte in a very friendly town. The hosts were such nice humans with lots of positive energy and not pushy. Shared bathrooms which was expected and the rooms have lots of beds - I only needed one but was comfortable and surprisingly cosy inside and warm. The food was lovely.

It was really an outstanding experience. The accomodation was comfortable with a large terace and wonderful view. The room was charming. We met wonderful people anf have found friends. We are greatful for their hospitality. When you are there do not miss a chance to take a tour round the village with the guide - a member of the family. It was great and so many new information. Frankly, we come back soon 😊

Rafik fue un gran anfitrión, súper amable y nos dió buenos consejos sobre rutas y sitios de interés.

The host was very responsive and extremely kind in wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.

It has a large living room and two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The host was super nice to us. He picked us up at the louage station when we arrived, and called a taxi for us on our day of departure. He also helped us to find a guide to drive us to nearby attractions.

We loved the atmosphere, the dinner was spectacular and the unexpected bonus was the dark sky offering an amazing view of the milky way and dozens of constellations which you normally do not see.
