Samuel is a wonderful host, and took very good care of us. The lodge is very near the beach and local amenities. The location is safe, secure and quiet. The locals are curious and friendly. Wandering the beach and village streets made for lots of good experiences. Our trip to Shell Island, an easy flat walk, was worthwhile and different again. Our transfer from Dakar ferry port was as arranged and without trouble. Samuel helped arrange our onward taxi, and currency exchange. The food was delicious, as was the gin! I wish we had time to stay longer!
