A magic place. It is a very special experience to have a great memory of Slovenia. There is nothing not to like. I would repeat St.Daniel without a doubt. Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Boutique Hotel Grahor is situated in Dane close to Sezana and only 15 km from Trieste in Italy. Everything was perfect, from rooms, breakfast and wellness to staff. Very clean and spacious rooms, super friendly stuff. Excellent!

Safir Hotel Casino is a newly built complex at the Slovenian-Italian border, about 2 km from the centre of Sežana and close to a variety of attractions. Nice and rich breakfast, very nice staff and helpful. Room was cozy and automated via air conditioning. We asked for making up the room and that was very fast. Place is near highway but the building is well built so you wont even notice. We we very happy to stay here. Pets ale welcomed for a fee per night.

Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant ensuite rooms. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. The rooms were super cool designed, with very creative solutions, and it even had weights and gym equipment in it. The breakfest was amazing and restaurant in the hotel is superb. The best part was that the famous Lipica Horse farm is basically located accross the Hotel, which is a must see visit for all.

Hotel Grahor Depandance is situated in Dane close to Sežana and only 15 km from Trieste in Italy. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a minibar, 50 metres from the Hotel Grahor. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are cozy and the hosts are great.

Boasting a terrace and views of quiet street, Vila Ana is an apartment set in a historic building in Štanjel, 25 km from Trieste Train Station. Beautiful and charming, and the location was amazing.

Offering garden views, Škerlj Wine Estate is an accommodation located in Tomaj, 17 km from Trieste Train Station and 18 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. A real gem. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
