St.Daniel is a wonderful biohotel with great character and heart. Amazing atmosphere, beautifully decorated, incredible hosts, wonderful staff, outstanding gastronomy with local ingredients only. A magic place. It is a very special experience to have a great memory of Slovenia. There is nothing not to like. I would repeat St.Daniel without a doubt. Room was cozy and automated via air conditioning. We asked for making up the room and that was very fast. Place is near highway but the building is well built so you wont even notice. We we very happy to stay here. Pets ale welcomed for a fee per night.

We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
