Located in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Kranj, the 4-star Hotel Actum is a small boutique hotel decorated in a romantic neo-Baroque style. It’s a very well-preserved historical hotel with modern updates. Very comfortable rooms, almost feels like it’s own Venetian touch. But really, the staff are what made all the difference. So friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is in a quiet place, newly renovated, great host that took great care of us and was available for all our needs. Breakfast was great. It’s a bit out of Ljubljana but that’s a plus. Nearby lake is nice to see and it’s peaceful and quiet yet near to Ljubljana by car. Rooms are small, but really nice. Doors can be opened with a code so you can check in anytime.

This 3-star hotel is located on Šmarjetna Hill, a popular excursion area 3 km away from Kranj’s centre. Enjoying a hilltop position, it offers an à-la-carte restaurant and a terrace. The location was wonder. The views were amazing. A little scary driving up all the switchbacks, but totally worth it. Plus the air was so clean and fresh

Hotel Krvavec is situated at 1600 metres above sea level on the popular Krvavec Mountain in Cerklje na Gorenjskem, offering cosy accommodation in front of the ski slopes. Nice rooms and solid food, both breakfast and dinner. Location was perfect, that is the biggest advantage of this hotel, ski in ski out. Great bar outside, in front of the hotel.

Jagodic Garni Hotel is located in the village of Vopovlje, 3 km from the airport and 18km from the city of Ljubljana. What a great hotel to end the holiday. The hotel was very beautiful , clean and at a very great location. 10 min away from the airport. Value for the price. Breakfast was excellent, the receptionist was very friendly. Unfortunately there is no restaurant near the hotel.
