The hotel is run smoothly by a few women who also work in the across-the-road restaurant. Friendly check-in there (I arrived late; restaurant was closing but I could still get some sandwiches). The breakfast in the morning is very good. It is (partly) prepared for you and put in the kitchen where you can come whenever you feel for it in the morning and help yourself. The building itself is a beautiful old mansion, surrounded by (agricultural) fields on three sides. So pretty to have a walk there after breakfast! I ended my stay in the restaurant with a good coffee and Swedish 'kanelbulle', and had a lunch after that. Did not feel like leaving at all!

It is one of the best places to stay in Dalsland or, more exactly, in Bengtsfors! Great personnel and great location! The breakfast was very fresh and tasty also! We had a very nice experience overall!! We recommend

El Dagsholm Hotell se encuentra en Färgelanda y ofrece restaurante, centro de fitness, salón compartido y jardín. Very clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast and all in a lovely quiet location. Sauna, gym, washing machines and driers.

Este alojamiento está a orillas del canal de Dalsland, a menos de 5 minutos a pie del acueducto de Håverud. Cuenta con cafetería y salón compartido para ver la TV. Beautiful little cottage which has space for even 4 people. We even had a little corner to sit with 2 comfy chairs and a sofa. We had a stunning view over the canal and the lake. Unfortunately we just booked 2 nights... we could have stayed longer. :) Please be aware that you have to bring own bedlinen or you rent it there. The price is reasonable. As well as you clean yourself or you just pay a little fee. But all fine. Thanks once again. We will highly recommend Visitor Stugby and Dalsland. Did you know that alone in Dalsland they have over 2000 lakes.....unbelievable but true.

The restaurant have an amazing beer IPA from Amal everyone must try. The staff were truly friendly. And the installation quite good.
