We also took advantage of the offer of dinners, we were satisfied. The owners offer to rent kayaks, snorkels with goggles. They can also arrange trips and advise on what activities can be undertaken.

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant and luggage storage space. The property features sea and lake views. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. We had a room in a house on a hill in the forest overlooking the sea. Lying in the hammock was really relaxing. Birds singing and the murmur of the sea. The owners from Holland are very friendly. Carmen is an excellent cook, at the same time a very nice and helpful hostess. She will be happy to advise you and help organize trips and transfers by water taxi. The joint dinners were a great experience both gastronomic and social.

Great,fresh breakfast with tasty local ingredients. Brian, Daniel and Choco were extremely kind , accommodating and helpful.

True Nature Jungle House is located in Bastimentos and offers a terrace. The property features city and sea views. Angie is the most amazing host! The jungle house she build is awesome and we've had a wonderful stay. Angie is well connected and can help arrange tours and transport. She has some great suggestions on where to eat and things to do on and off the island.  The community living on Bastimentos is lovely and the town feels like something out of an adventure novel. The house is situated right on the jungle trail to Wizard Beach, where you have a chance to spot birds and wildlife. Mere 50m from the house you have Mami's Restaurant, who is somewhat of a mother figure in town and is a great cook! There is also a small nature reserve an adventurous 20min walk from the house which is a must see on Bastimentos. Although it first looks like a garden, the reserve is a gateway to the jungle on the island. Within an hour or so we've seen sloth, capuchin monkeys, cayman and redfrogs. Also Mami's super sweet dog aptly named Princess might show up at the house and demand cuddles. She is somewhat of a local celebrity and you'd best abide.

Located in Bastimentos, Eclypse de Mar Acqua Lodge offers private bungalows and rooms with individual hammocks and stairs that provide access to the ocean. A restaurant is also on site. Literally everything! amazing staff, incredible accomodation (if you book a waterbungalow) and it even has its own botanical garden. Breakfast was really good! Such a lovely place which I can highly recommend.
