Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. The resort is a wonderful getaway from the city. They had plenty of food options that were all delicious. The activities arranged were fun and relaxing such as the sunset yoga, meditation and star gazing. The outdoor spa was a lovely experience. We went rock climbing for the first time and the guide Mohammed was great in making the experience enjoyable and made us feel safe as it was our first time rock climbing.

Location was great . Just opened property, hence everything is brand new . The owner is a gem of a person. Staff was courteous. They go out of the way to help . We had an issue with the car tyres and they arranged for air pumps. Can’t help praise the Oman people . Every one was so helpful, you just need to stop , they will enquire if you need help on directions. They will go out of the way to help .

Rooms are big,clean,neat and cosy. House keeping and Reception staff was very kind and helpful..It was our first time in Sohar and it wasn’t easy to find nice restaurants,we’re thankful to Mr Mohamed for giving his time to give information about what to and where to eat.Thank you Mr Jaber, you made everything easy for us during our stay. We’ll definitely stay in that hotel for the next trips to Sohar.
