Set in Wellington and with Freyberg Beach reachable within 1 km, TRYP by Wyndham Wellington, Tory Street offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the... For an addl 50 NZ$ I was able to check in early and got the room on the ground level. Since I stayed 4 nights, it was fantastic because I had a great kitchenette and washer dryer in large bathroom. Complementary continental breakfast was a big plus and it was around the corner to Te Papa museum and next door to a delicious Cantonese restaurant.

We had a lovely stay. It is located downtown so walking is easy to wherever you need to go. We LOVED the washer and dryer in the unit. Recommended!

Location - very central, still quiet inside room. The front desk receptionist (Indian guy from UP, can't remember the name) was excellent and very helpful. Also they let us do early check in. The breakfast was also excellent. The price was also relatively better compared to other smaller hotels. You just add a bit extra to get all the extra comforts. Worth it.

The best hotel on our road trip so far. We were upgraded to suites which were lovely. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
