Very clean. Staff was excellent! Food and coffee in the restaurant was great. The grounds were immaculate, a beautiful foreground for the absolutely stunning view of the volcano available from each and every room.

El Encanto Garden Hotel is located in Santa Cruz. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. The staff was exceptional. Helped us out with everything we needed. Always friendly and everything was arranged from the accomodation. The view and the location where amazing. After our 3 night reservation we extended our stay with another 4 nights!

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Hotel San Juan Ometepe is located in Altagracia, just 2.3 km from the main road. The property is about 2 Km off-road, hence, very quiet and relaxing with full of nature. Garden and plants are well-maintained, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Wifi is strong in reception, lobby and restaurant. We had a standard room and had good enough WiFi. There are a variety of birds, animals and insects as well. I needed an anti-insect spray in the evening, as I’m well loved by insects. Food is delicious and pricey but had good qualities. Staff is very kind.

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. I went there with my 68-year-old mother. The staff were awesome at all times, going beyond expectations. The hotel is near a white sanded beach, with an awesome view to one of the volcanoes. We only tried Nicaraguan food from the menu, and it was delicious. Ojo de agua is somewhat close, if you get the chance try to go there. The hotel will help you to get a taxi.

Set in Santa Cruz, less than 1 km from Santo Domingo Beach, Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!

Hospedaje Central features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Moyogalpa. Amazing people, the place is vibrant, colourful and bonded with nature. The bar is cheap and offers plenty of goods. Would recommend for anyone on a budget.

Situated in Mérida, 3.6 km from Maderas Volcano, Caballito's Mar features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Amazing breakfast that was included, very nice and helpful staff. We felt at home and comfortable right away in the cabin and restaurant area. And it was great to be part of local village life a bit :)

Cabañas Privadas Dilany in Moyogalpa features 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Everything was perfect! Food, location, comfortable bed and amazing family, who run this place. We felt really welcome and I would come back for sure!

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was clean and spacious. I loved their big hammock outside :)
