Beautiful setting/views, clean, tented room was very spacious and had very good insulation/heating. Rock hyrax (also referred to as dassies) just our patio we’re very cute and kept us entertained in the early evening. The bush brai dinner was spectacular in every way!

A gorgeously landscaped property conveniently located in Windhoek. The staff were friendly, the rooms very clean, and the restaurant yummy. My kids were the only one playing in the pool (aged 9, 12 and 14) and were asked to be quiet because of a conference. They weren’t being louder than kids playing in a pool. A little frustrating when the construction workers on their cottage not 100 feet away from the pool were grinding concrete and that was LOUD. Other than that small issue, the space has everything and all different types of lodging…..rooms, self-catering cottages, “glamping tents, camping spots and more.

Naankuse Lodge ligger i Windhoek og har udendørs swimmingpool, have, fælles opholdsstue og terrasse. Der er også roomservice og grill. Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Great bed! Nice location a bit out of the city center, which is nice if you want to have a place to relax and enjoy.

Hotel Thule ligger på en bjergskråning, 5 minutters kørsel fra centrum af Windhoek, og tilbyder storslået udsigt over byen. Der er restaurant og bar. Samtlige værelser har tv, aircondition og minibar.... The hotel is perfect, on a hill, kind off outside of Windhoek, but still inside. I travel in and out of the city every day. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I will go back. My room (26) had a private Entrance with a view on the mountains. Safe parking and excellent breakfast
