Floyd was in charge of activities and treated us like friends & family - experienced guy all other supporting staff ware amazing too room was amazing, beautiful and with a great view - felt like a dream food was amazing and all the preparation was on point - view from every point of the property was magical. we did bike riding and horse riding activities and it was a great experience. to top it all while leaving the property they packed lunch boxes for us to eat on the way as it was a very long drive.

The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a lovely apartment in Luderitz city and were absolutely delighted with our experience. From the moment we stepped in, we felt right at home. The apartment was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The panoramic views of the city and coastline from the apartment were a treat for the eyes every morning. Luderitz itself is a gem with its rich history, vibrant culture, and picturesque landscapes. We explored local eateries, took strolls along the beach, and visited historical landmarks—all of which were conveniently close to our accommodation. The host was extremely accommodating, always ensuring that we were comfortable and providing recommendations for local attractions. Their attention to detail and genuine care greatly enhanced our stay. We would love to return to this apartment on our next visit to Luderitz and highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to this beautiful city. Canyon Roadhouse Campsite features camping accommodation in the Karas region, near the Fish River Canyon. Loved the peace and quiet to recharge the soul. Beautifully laid out large camp sites with good shade and wildlife leisurely walking through. Very friendly & helpful staff
