Place was extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. The host even offer to drop me off in town a couple times to get groceries. Definitely recommend. Beds are comfy and aircon is freezing! It’s a new place by the looks of it so all The facilities are new.

Situated in Polonnaruwa, 48 km from Pidurangala Rock, Kithmi Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. We most liked that the owner is so passionate about his resort. He loved to show us around in his beautifull garden and everything in the resort is thought of and well functioning. The sister of the owner is an excellent cook and she makes a great Sri Lankan breakfast. Each day a bit different but always delicious and plentifull. Same holds for the optional dinner. Owner also has good deals and friendly and knowledgeable friends for excursions to the temples and Sigiriya and safari. We left to see other places but actually we didn't want to leave this little paradise.

There were a lot of birds in the evening, and the sunset was magnificent. There is a nice pool to relax while watching the sunset and pool beds to relax if you need. It might not be the ideal location for luxury seekers, but it is excellent for any traveller who loves nature! Comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. The manager and staff were really helpful, and I was happy to see a staff full of young blood! The manager said that the owners had changed recently, so hopefully, it will be even better when I visit the next time!

Cleanliness, high quality services provided by all the staff, very caring and efficient manager, excellent food, comfortable bed and nice fluffy pillows, as well as tea making facilities, and the low room rate. Without any doubt we received very good value for the miney we spent. In particular, Kumara, the manager of Summer Haven, did everything possible to satisfy the customer needs without any delay. He provided an excellent service as a manager. We will definitely stay at Summer Haven on our next visit, and will also spread the word among our friends.
