We loved everything about the Madilao…it was just what we needed to wind up our Laos stay. Rooms were spacious, spotless quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts offered a good choice and served on the patio near the pool was a lovely touch. The pool was also very welcome, clean and cool. The shuttle into town in the evening was also welcome and they even organised a trip to the waterfall for us. They provide bikes for free use, which we didn’t use, but they looked in good condition. The ride share company Loca was cheap and easy to use for other times, such as the airport which is close by. Would we stay again? Yes!

Vieng Savanh II Hotel is located in Luang Prabang, within 100 metres of Wat Ho Xiang and 500 metres of Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre. The manager is amazing!! We left some stuff in the room (on purpose so the people who work there can have it, but we forgot to tell) so without notice he came to the airport to bring us the clothes. He went out his way to get it back to us (which was not necessary so we paid his cab of course). Beside of that, they’re very friendly, good breakfast in the morning, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good amenities. We will stay here for sure again!!

When we arrived at the Hotel, we were given a welcome drink and fruits. The Host Lisa speak good english. Great Job done Lisa. We will be back in future.

L'hotel és espectacular, molt ben cuidat tot i preciós. L'estada inclou esmorzar (a triar entre 4 menús que et porten a l'habitació quan diguis), piscina molt maca (amb tovalloles) i fins i tot transport gratuït al centre de Luang Prabang. Si tornem algun cop a Luang Prabang anirem a Thongbay segur.

Amazing lotus ponds - we absolutely loved having breakfast beside the pond and visiting the very nice restaurant for dinner. The textile theming was also quite nice. Location is excellent - a short walk to the night market and all of the action but on a quiet street. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful room. Lots of greenery around, quite calm and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed having drinks and snacks at the restaurant. Free shuttle to town to check out the night market. We even walked to town from the hotel, which was quite enjoyable. Lovely views from our room.

The staff and managers are so kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect- right in the heart of the old town. Though it was incredibly hot while we were visiting in June, being right in the center of town made it easy to return to our room at the hottest parts of the day. We watched the alms giving several times as it was literally a two minute walk to the Main Street. Though the street could be a little noisy with traffic, occasionally, it was never a problem, and in fact it was fun people watching from our ( little) balcony.

Everything. Hotel is so beautiful, lika a dream of " old times". Location is 100%, you are in middle of everything, walking distance to everything. Views are nice. Restaurant/ breakfast room is beautiful, nice street seating too. Service perfect 🥰

What a hotel. Rosewood lives up to expectations. The interiors are stunning. The whole property is beautifully laid out with the old house looking immaculate. I would have loved to stay longer. The staff were such a pleasure. The level of service is superb. We had a pick up from a restaurant where the driver waited for us for over half an hour even though his shift had ended.
