You would be surprised by exploring this diverse and elegant space on a remote island. I mainly used LINE and AI tool (e.g. POE) to communicate with the house owner Iwamoto. He would take the initiative to take care of you, such as your intinerary, personal belongings and safety. Don't be shy to seek his help. He is very nice.

The apartment is roomy and very comfortable and has a big balcony with a breathtaking view, over the garden and bay and also the nights sky. It is great to have a couch in the living room to relax and the bathroom is big with a nice shower. The owner is very kind and helpful and knows just enough English to be able to arrange everything you need. There is free snorkeling gear, which we used for Ida beach, and we also did a snorkeling tour with the owner which was great. We got a private tour to some very nice snorkel spots with no other people/boats around. Saw a lot of sea turtles too! The location is great, as said with a gorgeous view. Having a car is recommended though as this makes getting around on Iriomote much easier. Cant recommend this place enough!
