Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. The hotel is very cosy and we liked the sitting area near the reception where we could enjoy a coffee. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Set an 8-minute drive from central Reykjavik, this hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. Kringlan Shopping Centre is 1 km away. This is an excellent place to stay in Reykjavik. We had a lovely room, spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated - just like the rest of the hotel really. The style is very modern and warm at the same time. We slept in excellent comfortable and snug beds with really soft sheets, and we trully enjoyed the nice shower and coffee facilities in the room. The morning breakfast was lovely, with homemade cakes, smoked salmon and lots of other Icelandic delicacies. Also here, the owners prove they have an eye for detail serving breakfast in beautiful tea cups, plates and cutlery. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and helpful, and gave a number of useful suggestions for visiting the city. She makes you feel at home right away. Upon arrival, we also enjoyed some tea and home made chocolate cake which makes you relax right away. Location is close to the main shopping street, not far from the large parc and easily reachable from the airport as well. Free parking onsite was handy and wifi was of good quality. We would certainly recommend staying here.

Peacefull. Quiet. The best place to start vacation. Best bed ever. Nice smell. Friendly and helpfull stuff. We will absolutely be back.

The hotel was outstanding and located centrally for visiting all of the sites. The rooms were comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating. The breakfast, which was included, was varied and delicious. And we even found time to use the hot bath!
