The location is stunning, you should see it to understand it… there are many hiking routes and you get a map at the reception to be able to follow them. Unfortunately we did not have the time to see them all (we stayed only 3 days & the weather was not nice), so we have to go back :) The swimming pool, saunas are also nice, definitely worth a try. We found the programs also interesting, but unfortunately could not try them. Food is great, room is beautiful & clean. It is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stay! Nestled on the shores of Loch Lein, The Lake Hotel has magnificent mountain views. Just 2km from Killarney, a restaurant and the hotel has en suite rooms. the location at the side of the lake was wonderful, lovely walk to Muckross abbey and Muckross house. The hotel is amazing, open fires, great atmosphere with old style furniture, sitting areas, bar. Grounds are lovely, I saw some deer. Its worth having a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and had some other meals there as well which were also good.

Offering chic and modern bedrooms with sleek, marble bathrooms and plasma TVs, The Bianconi Inn sits in Killorglin’s centre with an award-winning restaurant. This is an absolutely recommended hotel. I could frankly not find anything to fault. The beds are comfortable. The bed linnen was luxurious. The bathroom was excellent. The rooms are in traditional design but very pleasant and cozy. Downstairs is a wonderful restaurant / pub serving good cuisine. The cold breakfast options are a bit limited but amply compensated by the warm options.

Quinlan & Cooke Boutique Townhouse, formerly QC's, is family-run and situated in Cahersiveen on The Wild Atlantic Way. The personal flair, getting to know the owner who is a terrific woman. Her recommendations for our onward journey were excellent! The seafood restaurant was amazing for our dinner and the glass of Port was out of this world. The accommodation was eclectic, refined and of great quality.
