The staff went above and beyond and made us comfortable and even surprised us with a bottle of wine on the house for my partners birthday,leeann at the front desk was just amazing!

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. The hotel was beautiful. Everything was decorated beautifully. Our room was so big and the beds were nice and comfy.

Situated in Cavan, within 17 km of Maudabawn Cultural Centre and 25 km of Monastery of Kells, The Bailie features accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. The staff are very friendly. The reception very comfortable with a open fire. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. The bed and linen was very good. The meals in the restaurant were lovely.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. It was a relaxing night away. We had a 3 course meal in Maxwells Grill which was 10/10- the fillet steak and fishcake I would highly recommend. We also had some fab cocktails afterwards. Orla working on reception was so welcoming- a ray of sunshine who made us both smile.

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. it’s homey, comfortable, quiet even though in the middle of the street. staff are friendly and professional.
