Whenever we had a request for our baby this was arranged immediately. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it! Also the afternoon tea js very nice. Which the hotel organises every day from 16 till 18.

Located in the heart of Surabaya, a 3-minute walk to Tunjungan Plaza, Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery offers rooms with a marble and gold plated bathroom. I am an American visiting Malaysia and Indonesia for the winter. I have stayed at colonial-era hotels all over Southeast Asia and Hotel Majapahit is the most beautiful and authentic of them all. General Manager K. Salamun graciously introduced himself and told me some of the history. The hotel is well-conserved, particularly the back area where little has changed since its 1910 inception. I had Room 050 near the Balinese spa (also enthusiastically recommended). Roaming the property is like travelling to another time. Although situated on a very busy street, all I heard in the morning was the garden fountain, birds and the Muezzin in the nearby mosque calling to prayer. The staff was uniformly gracious and alert. Excellent value. Recommended heartily for a stay in Surabaya.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and attentive, they really bend over backwards to do whatever you need and really go the extra mile. Superb staff aside, it's a great location for restaurants, bus station, train station beach etc. Everything you need is reasonably close. The hostel itself is so homely, with different places to relax and a lovely kitchen. Perfect for Baluwangi and those seeking to do excursions in East Java

The common areas are great for meeting other travellers, the kitchen is good for cooking or making coffee. My room was very comfortable. But the best part is the staff: I was only there for one night, but they went to great lengths to help me with my travel plans and find good hikes in East Java. I‘ve come around quite a bit and this is one of the best hostels I‘ve been to.

The location is good and near to the meeting place and/or office that I visited during the business trip. The parking lot is huge, and the staffs are kind and fast response. Definitely will stay again in this hotel on the next business trip to Banyuwangi, East Java. Well done!
